Logistics 2017 to be held from Feb 2-4, 2017 in New Delhi
Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) along with Institute of Logistics to organise the ninth edition of Logistics 2017, which will be held from February 2-4, 2017 in New Delhi. The three-day exhibition will focus on handling, production, packaging, inventory, transportation, warehousing. The event will have a two-day conference ‘Logistics Summit 2017’ with the theme “Future of Indian Logistics” from February 2-3, 2017 at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi.
The event will be an ideal platform for companies involved in logistics, supply chain, transportation, shipping, material handling, consultancy and IT related services, to strengthen their brand awareness and to showcase their strengths to industry.
India being one of the fastest growing economies has great potential for growth in every sector. Logistics industry is the backbone of development and a strong and growing logistic sector indicates healthy trend of growing economy. Further, the impetus provided by the Government of India is expected to boost the economic growth. Special focus on infrastructure will help logistics industry further.
Indian logistics industry is at developing stage with technology usage at its minimum level. With large multinationals players entering Indian market with introduction of technology, face of logistics sector is also changing fast. India today is looking at developments in warehousing, cold storage, shipping and ports where huge investment is expected.
